Group Work

THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO GROUP PROGRAMS RUNNING

Previously run Child & Adolescent Groups:

​

Developing a Healthy Mind (age 11+ : grades 5/6 or grades 7/8)

This groups focus on supporting children and young people to understand what a healthy mind is, learn strategies to manage difficult emotions and thoughts, and how to know when they need extra support.

​

Identity & Deafness: Developing a Healthy Identity (age 11+ : grades 5/6 or grades 7/8)

This group supports deaf and hard of hearing young people to explore their identity, values and what is important to them, with a compassionate focus on building self advocacy and self care skills

​

Understanding Our Emotions (ages 7-10)

This group focuses on supporting younger children to identify, label and express their emotions while building the skills they need to manage BIG feelings and have their needs met by carers.

​

GROUP COST: $660 for 6 week/6 session group/1.5hr per session

​

All groups are offered in a variety of formats to support varying communication preferences (Auslan, English or Bimodal), with locations dependent on interest (Aspley, Toowong or online). Groups are suitable for NDIS, Medicare or private funding.
