I've had an interest in sign language since I was 8, when a deaf child started at my school.  I was fascinated to watch the beauty of visual language and the deaf world for the first time, and eager to be part of a school wide initiative to learn some basic signs to welcome the girl and make friends.

My interest in the diversity of people, community and culture has underpinned my education and employment, as well as my personal life.  I have lived in three different countries and continue to learn every day about the multiple perspectives on life, family and how we make sense of the world we experience.

I integrate a variety of psychological therapies in my approach including Systemic/Family Therapy (solution-focused, narrative and strength-based), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness and psychodynamic models.

Such diversity enables therapy to remain flexible and individually tailored to the needs and goals of clients to better understand difficulties and provide the most appropriate intervention.
